The RagCuffs Story

This is the tale of two unlikely fashion entrepreneurs, who fell for the simplicity, beauty and functionality of an accessory idea, and are passionate about sharing the love with others.

Amy was once gifted a one of a kind pair of gray, knitted wrist cuffs. They were so cozy, kept her warm during photo shoots and complemented anything she would wear. Needless to say, she never took them off. Months went by and the cuffs received compliment after compliment from friends and strangers alike. When asked where they could be purchased, Amy had no answer but the idea for the RagCuffs brand was born.

Along with close friend and collaborator Kate, Amy dreamed up all the different ways you could wear these accessories and created storyboards for styles for the whole family. They immersed themselves in yarns, knitting techniques and developed rounds after rounds of samples for friends and family feedback. Amy and Kate knew RagCuffs would be a hit with when no one wanted to give them up.

It’s a pleasure to apply our creative backgrounds into launching an idea that we feel so strongly about. RagCuffs is committed to producing beautiful and exciting products knitted in downtown Los Angeles.
